IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 brought the attractions industry to London from September 22 to 24, and Gecai Culture was there with two of our latest animatronic attraction products.
At ExCeL London, our booth featured a servo motor animatronic T-Rex and a custom Pumpkin Monster, giving visitors a closer look at two different applications of animatronic technology, from dinosaur-themed attractions to Halloween entertainment.
Over the three-day exhibition, we had the opportunity to meet attraction professionals, project developers, designers, and potential partners from different markets. The conversations focused not only on how an animatronic model looks, but also on practical questions such as movement, customization, installation, operating conditions, and how a product can fit into a real attraction project.
For Gecai Culture, IAAPA Expo Europe was more than a product showcase. It was an opportunity to present our manufacturing capabilities, learn more about current market needs, and discuss how customized animatronic products can be developed for different types of attractions.

The animatronic T-Rex was one of the main products presented at our booth.
T-Rex remains one of the most recognizable dinosaurs for dinosaur parks, theme parks, museums, exhibitions, and other prehistoric-themed attractions. However, a realistic appearance is only one part of an animatronic dinosaur.
For a real attraction project, buyers also need to consider movement, operating conditions, installation space, viewing distance, maintenance, and transportation.
Our servo motor T-Rex is designed to provide more controlled and coordinated movements. Depending on the configuration, movements can include the head, jaw, neck, body, and tail, creating a more dynamic presentation for visitors.
Compared with a basic motor system, a servo motor system can provide greater control over movement. This can be particularly useful for projects where animation quality and coordinated movement are important.
However, servo motors are not necessarily required for every project. The right system depends on how the dinosaur will be used.
For example, a model placed in a museum with limited daily operation may have different requirements from a large outdoor dinosaur park where the model operates repeatedly throughout the day.
When discussing a custom animatronic dinosaur project, we therefore consider the intended application before recommending the appropriate motor and control system.

The second featured product at IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 was our custom animatronic Pumpkin Monster.
Halloween has become an important seasonal theme for many entertainment venues, including theme parks, haunted attractions, shopping centers, resorts, family entertainment centers, and special events.
Compared with a traditional dinosaur display, Halloween attractions often require stronger character design and atmosphere. An animatronic monster can become part of an entrance display, walkthrough attraction, themed scene, or seasonal installation.
The Pumpkin Monster can be customized according to the requirements of a specific project. Depending on the concept, customization may include the character's size, shape, facial expression, colors, movements, lighting effects, and other visual details.
For seasonal attractions, the surrounding environment is also important. A character does not need to work alone. Lighting, sound, scenery, props, and other themed elements can be combined to create a more complete visitor experience.
This project-oriented approach allows us to develop Halloween animatronics that are designed for a specific attraction rather than simply selecting a standard character from a catalog.

One of the most valuable parts of IAAPA Expo Europe was being able to discuss the practical requirements behind different attraction projects.
An animatronic model may look impressive in a photograph, but the requirements can be very different once it becomes part of a real project.
Buyers may need to consider:
Where the model will be installed
How frequently it will operate
What movements are actually required
Indoor or outdoor conditions
Available installation space
Transportation and assembly
Maintenance and technical support
These factors can affect the final size, structure, mechanical system, and production method.
For international projects, transportation and installation also need to be considered from the early design stage. A well-designed animatronic product should not only look right, but also work within the practical limitations of the project.

Gecai Culture focuses on the design and manufacturing of animatronic dinosaurs, animals, plants, dragons, monsters, and other custom attraction models.
Our products can be customized in terms of size, appearance, color, movement, and functions according to project requirements.
For a new custom model, the process can begin with a customer's drawing, reference image, concept, or basic idea. Our team can then work through structural design, modeling, sculpting, mechanical installation, surface treatment, painting, assembly, and testing.
For international customers, we can also provide support for packing, shipping, installation guidance, and technical communication.

Participating in IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 in London gave Gecai Culture another opportunity to connect with professionals from the international attractions industry.
From a servo motor T-Rex for dinosaur-themed attractions to a custom Pumpkin Monster for Halloween events, the products we presented represent two different applications of animatronic technology.
More importantly, the exhibition reinforced the importance of designing products around real project requirements.
Whether it is a dinosaur park, theme park, museum, Halloween attraction, resort, shopping center, or other themed entertainment project, the right animatronic model should fit the space, operating conditions, visitor experience, and overall design.
Gecai Culture will continue developing custom animatronic attraction products for customers around the world, combining realistic design, mechanical movement, customization, and project-oriented manufacturing.
