Yuncheng Salt Lake Dinosaur Park Project, China

Located near Yuncheng Salt Lake in China, this dinosaur park project combines large animatronic displays, themed decorations, interactive photo props and visitor-operated attractions.

Gecai Culture supplied more than 20 animatronic dinosaurs, dinosaur skeleton walkway decorations, carnivorous plant models, custom dinosaur egg photo props and dinosaur rides. Together, these products create different experiences throughout the park rather than relying only on installed dinosaur models.

What Was Included in the Project?

The project included five main product categories:

  • More than 20 animatronic dinosaurs: the main exhibits throughout the park.

  • Dinosaur skeleton walkway decorations: themed elements used to strengthen the prehistoric atmosphere.

  • Carnivorous plant models: fantasy-style attractions that add variety to the dinosaur scenes.

  • Custom dinosaur egg photo props: dedicated settings for visitor photographs.

  • Dinosaur rides: interactive attractions for children and families.

Each category serves a different purpose, helping the park combine viewing, exploration, photography and interactive entertainment.

Animatronic Dinosaurs as the Main Displays

More than 20 animatronic dinosaurs formed the main exhibition collection.

The models were arranged to create different prehistoric scenes throughout the park. Their sizes, species, postures, colors, movements and sound effects were selected according to the available space and project requirements.

Using dinosaurs with different body shapes and display heights also helps separate the exhibition into recognizable areas and encourages visitors to explore the full park route.

Themed Decorations and Photo Opportunities

The dinosaur skeleton walkway decorations extend the theme beyond the individual models. They help connect different exhibition areas and make the visitor route feel like part of the prehistoric environment.

Carnivorous plant models add another visual element, while the custom dinosaur egg props provide designated photo locations. These photo points allow visitors to stop and take pictures without interrupting the main dinosaur displays.

Dinosaur Rides for Interactive Entertainment

The project also includes dinosaur rides and other interactive entertainment products.

Unlike installed exhibits, dinosaur rides allow visitors to participate directly in the attraction. They can be positioned in a controlled activity area with suitable staff supervision and sufficient operating space.

Combining rides with displays and photo props gives the park more ways to engage families and younger visitors.
