Animatronic Model Cases
Dinosaur Project in Shenyang Botanical Garden
Gecai Culture supplied more than 15 animatronic dinosaurs, six carnivorous plant models and three dinosaur rides for a themed project in Shenyang Botanical Garden, China.
By placing prehistoric creatures and fantasy plants within the botanical landscape, the project creates a dinosaur-themed garden that combines visual displays with interactive attractions for families and children.
What Was Included in the Project?
The project included three main product categories:
More than 15 animatronic dinosaurs: the main prehistoric exhibits throughout the garden.
Six carnivorous plant models: fantasy-themed decorations that complement the natural plants.
Three dinosaur rides: interactive products designed for visitor participation.
Each category serves a different purpose, helping the attraction combine exploration, themed scenery and family entertainment.
Animatronic Dinosaurs in a Botanical Landscape
More than 15 animatronic dinosaurs formed the main exhibition collection.
The models were positioned among trees, lawns and other plants to create the feeling of discovering dinosaurs within a natural environment. Different sizes, postures and display heights also help separate the garden into individual dinosaur scenes.
For similar outdoor projects, model selection should consider the available space, viewing distance, movement range, drainage, power supply and maintenance access.
Carnivorous Plant Models for Fantasy Scenery
Six carnivorous plant models were added to expand the theme beyond prehistoric animals.
Placed alongside the natural vegetation, these customized models introduce a fantasy element and help connect different parts of the visitor route. Their appearance, dimensions, colors and movements can be adjusted to suit the surrounding landscape.
The combination of real plants and customized models gives the attraction a stronger visual identity than a standard dinosaur display alone.
Dinosaur Rides for Visitor Interaction
The project also included three dinosaur rides and interactive entertainment products.
Unlike installed display models, dinosaur rides allow visitors to participate directly in the attraction. They can be positioned in a designated operating area with sufficient space, clear visitor circulation and staff supervision.
Adding interactive products gives families another activity beyond viewing and photographing the dinosaurs.
